We’re in Give!Guide

Join thousands of Portland area residents in one of the biggest giving events of the year

It’s kickoff day! Every fall, Portlanders and neighbors around the metro area get together to support the incredible array of nonprofits in our communities, all as part of Willamette Week’s annual Give!Guide fundraising campaign. This year, Human Solutions is featured in the brand new Home category, among other local nonprofits working to solve our region’s housing and homelessness crises.

Human Solutions works in East Portland and wider East Multnomah County to help our neighbors experiencing homelessness or housing instability find the housing and economic security we all deserve.

Donate to Human Solutions’ Give!Guide campaign now.

New to Give!Guide? Here’s the deal: You can donate online through December 31 via Give!Guide to an array of nonprofits (including Human Solutions!). All donations are collected through Give!Guide, where you can donate to multiple organizations at once, with donations starting at $10. This inspiring collective giving is an effective way to support local nonprofits. Don’t miss out!

Each nonprofit works with local business partners to reward Give!Guide donors, giving you a treat when you give back. Our business partner is DB Dessert Company, offering our Give!Guide donors a free cupcake at their shops. When you give to Human Solutions you’ll also earn our beloved vinyl House the People sticker. You can put it on a window, water bottle or wherever you want to show your support for housing justice.

Donate during one of the Big Give Days to be entered to win some terrific prizes. Big Give Days launch November 4, with a chance to win a two-night coastal getaway. Keep an eye out for other giveaways, too, like tattoos, bikes, more bikes, a Powell’s shopping spree, Nossa Familia subscription and more.

Last year at Human Solutions, 729 people stayed in our three emergency shelters, 2,229 people called our affordable housing home, and we distributed nearly $2 million in COVID-related rent and cash assistance. Collectively, we accomplished a lot. We hope you’ll join us this year in Give!Guide as we work, together in support of some of the best community-activated efforts happening in our region.
