The Welcome Home Kit provides a rare opportunity for moving from homelessness into housing to their space with new items that they choose themselves. Each kit is a $500 gift card that we give to these newly housed neighbors — and community support is needed to help this initiative grow!
At Our Just Future, we believe everyone deserves housing that feels like home. For most of us, these comforts also mean stability: the smell of home cooking in the air, the personalization of wall art and house plants, and the amazing feeling of clean bedding at the end of a long day. Unfortunately, the high costs of rent and utilities can put home goods like pots and pans, bath towels, and cleaning supplies out of reach for people navigating housing and financial insecurity.
