Today, Nisha and her family are stably housed and actively involved in the community.
Her Story
5 years ago Nisha received a no cause eviction and became homeless with her children. After couch surfing with friends and family, in crowded and difficult circumstances, she finally found a place through Human Solutions. “I never want to be homeless again,” Nisha says, “I pay my rent on time every month and I make it a point to be active in my community.” With help from Human Solutions, Nisha has accheived stable housing for herself and her children.
“Because of Human Solutions, I have made some wonderful memories with my children. Human Solutions and their staff believed in me even when I didn’t believe in myself.”
