Our Hair-Care Drive Starts Today!

Starting today, you can help out by collecting new hair-care products and tools for residents in our three emergency shelters. We host a diverse group of about 230 people each night, so we need products for all hair types and all genders. Our goal is to supply every resident with the supplies they need to feel wonderful while staying with us!

For sanitary reasons (and because shelter residents deserve the best), all donated tools and products must be new. As you’re shopping, feel free to use our wish list as a guide or choose items you wouldn’t want to be without. Our community drop-off points will be glad to receive your donated items. We even have donation bins ready in select beauty supply stores, where you can shop and give on the spot.

Our daily self-care routines often help us feel like ourselves – and like we’re worth it, even in crisis. Shampoo and curl cream may not solve homelessness, but trust us when we say that the journey through homelessness is traumatic and every sign of care like this helps. Folks living in emergency shelter deserve nice things just as much as anyone else.
