Something that inspires me about the work Our Just Future does is the way they care for the people in East Portland and how they center their needs with an equity-focused lens.

Ashton joined the board at Our Just Future (formerly known as Human Solutions) because he believes that everyone deserves the right and dignity to quality housing. Being raised in Houston, Texas, made Ashton who he is, and he was taught to be strong, strive for things that challenged him, and maintain determination. He is a proud father and disabled veteran, and enjoys outdoor adventures.
